Today the professor called me and asked me to come to him with Dragonite. When we arrived, he met us and said that he was finally ready to test the power of Mega Dragonite, but for this we had to go 250 kilometers south of the city, to a closed testing ground. Of course, we agreed and went there. When we drove up to the testing site, I was amazed at what I saw. There was a huge metropolis at the testing site. It looked very similar to our city, but there was not a soul in it.
- It was a grandiose project. We spent a lot of time on it. Here we test the abilities of Pokémon. What they can do in the city if they lose control. Today I want to find out how destructive your Mega Dragonite is.
The professor looked at me and smiled.
- I think this will be interesting.
When we arrived at the site, I summoned my Dragonite and activated its Mega Evolution.
- Okay. Let's start with something simpler. I want you to use Thunder Punch first. It's a pretty weak attack, let's see what you can do in this city. When your trainer and I are safe, you'll hear the sirens, then start your attack.
Dragonite sat down carefully in the middle of the street and began to wait for our signal. Our bunker was 35 kilometers from where Dragonite was, and after a while we arrived at the place. All we saw was a distant city standing far away from us. We took our places and the professor pressed the button for our readiness.
While we were driving, Dragonite decided to look around the street where he was. The street was empty, there were rare abandoned cars on it. Some of them were mutilated by other Pokémon who tested their destructive powers here. All the houses, vehicles, and streets were Real, there were no people, animals, or other Pokémon here. Many houses looked shabby, in many apartment windows the simplest decorations of human life were visible: old furniture and appliances.
Suddenly Dragonite heard the howl of sirens, which were carried throughout the city.
- This is a signal! Mega Dragonite whispered.
Energy began to form in his hands, which became more and more with each passing second. Dragonite was surprised by his strength. This ball grew in the dragon's hands much faster than usual. Lightning coming from this ball struck in all directions, and the longer the dragon held the energy ball in his hands, the stronger the lightning struck the surrounding objects. One of the lightning bolts hit exactly an old jeep standing next to Dragonite's leg. The car was thrown into the building, after which it instantly caught fire. Dragonite chose a house standing at the end of the street as his target. As soon as the goal was found, the dragon, like a heavyweight athlete, threw the ball at the building. Flying to its target, the ball continued to shoot lightning at all the objects it passed, causing great damage to both cars and buildings. When the ball reached its target, a powerful explosion occurred. A destructive shock wave began to spread in all directions. Dragonite saw how the destructive force began to move back. Huge buildings before his eyes turned to dust. Cars literally dissolved into thin air. Concrete slabs of sidewalks and road asphalt, like buildings, turned to dust. All the dragon managed to do was turn away from the blow, and kneeling to cover himself with his huge wings from the wave. He saw how the flame on the jeep lying next to him suddenly went out. And then the car simply evaporated. He watched how easily strong and durable walls of houses were blown away, and how the attributes of people's lives disappeared. Dragonite did not want to think about what could happen to living beings that could end up where he ended up. The dragon closed his eyes, and an image of a full-fledged city appeared in his head where he had done this. Everyone had turned to dust in one second. Everyone he loved, everyone he knew, everything had evaporated. This thought did not leave the dragon's head. When the load on his body subsided, he opened his eyes and stood up. He stood in the middle of the desert. There was not even a hint of a city around him. No houses, no ruins, no cars. Just a burnt field. In a panic, the dragon began to examine the area in search of a bunker, until he found the outline of the professor's car in the distance. In just a couple of seconds, Dragonite flew a distance of 35 kilometers. The professor and I were horrified by what we saw. All we saw was the metropolis disappear in a bright flash. I was very worried about my Dragonite. But I was happy that we met again. The dragon took off the leather belt with the Mega Evolution Stone from his leg and gave it to the professor. The thought that he could hurt someone in such a cruel way scared him greatly. It was spectacular and scary…
