This sketch was actually composed of a number of different sketches I had done separate from one another. I thought I’d try collate them and make them into one good image instead of just a jumble of separate, less impressive ones. I did this a few times, but this one here is my favourite.
When I showed it to my sister she had a great response, saying that it reminded her of an anxiety dream. Jen staring down is the feeling of being judged while the Doberman represents your fears. The train rushing in is life moving too fast for you and the tentacles are feeling of being overwhelmed. Finally, the whale showing through in the background is coming peace; the light at the end of the tunnel. I was quite impressed by this description XD
