The fire lookout coughed and hiccuped at the same time, clutching his chest at the awful sensation. He had stepped outside for some air, even though it wasn't like the inside of the firewatch tower was all that stuffy to begin with. Damn cold was getting worse, but like hell was he going to hike 20 miles back to civilization just for some meds. No way was he going to come crying to the agency for help either. He hiccuped again and gritted his teeth. He was going to ride this out if it killed him.
Either that or the sudden earthquakes that suddenly began shaking the landscape. A series of tremors, unnaturally evenly spaced apart, grew from subtle rumbles to thooming quakes. It was only his grogginess that prevented the lookout from seeing the source of the quakes from literal miles away; it took a shadow from the moonlight engulfing the entire tower for him to finally realize that something was sneaking up behind him.
The fire lookout spun around to see a gargantuan wall of dark fabric, stretching up and up and up until it finally spread into the recognizable but impossibly huge form of a black shirt and leather overcoat. The titan wearing it also sported a plague doctor's mask and hat, each larger than the entire firewatch tower itself. The lenses of the mask housed two glowing, beady eyes, staring right at the lookout from above.
The lookout's legs gave out from under him. He fell flat on his ass, an action which seemed to prompt the giant to lean in closer. His hands snaked around either side of the tower, leather-gloved fingers thicker than the man was tall closing in as if he was going to rip the whole structure from the ground like a child's toy. Trees rustled as metric tons of air blasted in and out of the giant's mask, his mere breathing from underneath it nearly causing more earthquakes on its own. The lookout knew the job could be dangerous, but he never knew he would be meeting his end to something like this. He closed his eyes, hoped that whatever it planned on doing to him would be quick, and stifled one last cough.
And then it spoke:
"House call!"
What.
"I'll be your doctor for today! Don't you worry little guy, I'll get you fixed right up!"
The fire lookout blinked. Well, his hiccups were gone at least.
This started out as a quick little test while playing around in a gorgeous environment I got and I ended up just adding more and more to it until I found two renders I really liked! I also wanted to show off the updated plague doctor outfit I made for my Warrior Giants. This one wants to be a legitimate doctor with modern medical knowledge, but the plague doctor outfit was the only one that gave him a head covering.
