years ago when i had an interview with marvel productions i had done an image of Captain America in a new suit. the guy doing the interview liked the image but i was told my art was to detailed. i later found out the opening i was going for was filled by one of that guys friends. i was shooting for the outfit to be more like vendicator's from alpha flight a costume that looked more like the flag.
