Philomela prt. 17 - Eyes and eyelids
My second attempt to make similar eyes, previously I used soft parts, which is why they did not close completely.
The eyelids rotate around a tube, inside of which there is a retractable rod, due to which the eyelids close/open (at the end they should be connected by a common part)
I made the eyes to suddenly realize that the eyes with these parts simply do not fit into the head!

Unfortunately, this is the last thing I will post about assembling the figure, I encountered an unexpected problem. I usually worked in the evenings and dried the parts on the metal body of the lamp or under the lamp itself. The bulbs that I used were 40 watts, they were simply taken off the market at some point, and if they were found, their quality was extremely questionable. Out of 5 bulbs, by the end of the month (or even the week), only one remained.

I have plans on how to fix this while maintaining functionality and reducing the space taken up...Unfortunately, this is the last thing I will post about assembling the figure, I encountered an unexpected problem. Yes, I tried without warm drying, the parts turned out unsuitable for such work. I am looking for alternatives... until next time<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
