xypressWell, well, well, isn't this an interesting persona! A panther, but wait, there's something else... What could it be? Oh whatever could it be? Something just feels... off about him. Something hauntingly mesmerizing. Is it the wine glass? That is wine, isn't it? .... Isn't it?
Painting this was loads of fun. I get to play with this character's dual species. Have you guessed it already? Yep, he's a vampire panther. I used two colors for the background instead of one in order to portray his dual nature. Red and blue. Dark and light. Which is why I kept half of his face in the light, while half of his other face in the dark, illuminated by the ominous red light from below. I even changed his eye color too. Vampires are notorious for their mesmerizing gaze after all. And yes, that wine is meant to look like blood. Or perhaps.... it is actually blood... Oh well, let's just 'B positive', get it? Muahahahahaha!
