Imagine you literally were THE God as described in the Christine/Catholic bible. Now imagine how many pissed off people who worshiped you now blame you to any degree ranging from passive aggressive to 'I want to kill you like the devil should have all those ages ago' for all the pain and suffering they experienced in their lives.
I'd like to think ruling the entire world would be something akin to that. LOTS of headaches and even more assassination attempts.
