Alright, ya goofs. Here's some less-serious stuff I've been trying to knock out. I wanted to redo some of the notes I have for my comic, TNB, and make them more presentable. So far, I've managed two entries for some of the fauna in EarthReign. That said, here are some giant spiders.
<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
Giant spiders are a staple of so many fantasy stories, but it was my intent to explore the ecological niche such spiders would fill and their impact on the local wildlife and the mortals around them. They're not supernatural per se, and they're far from evil. They're just big, hungry animals. That doesn't make them any less dangerous, but they're also not apart of some big, evil scheme.
Also, and I am in no way a biologist or whatever, but I find speculative biology so much fun and I try to keep things in a somewhat feasible vein. I did, however, have to stop myself from making this a huge anatomical study of the creatures. It just needs to be 'good enough', not textbook quality ya neuro-spicy redneck. (that was directed at myself, just FYI)
