Pretty much just another Machina Wars drawing. I need to actually write up the story, but I can't get myself to for some reason. And yeah, I know I messed up her hands. The open wing could be better too.

Both Saerin'Tal and Kael'Drin aren't entirely human. Saerin's a half-demon from her dad, and Kael's a half-angel from his mom.

In this world, demons are guardians, protectors, what have you. The angels are ruthless Judges/Jury/Executioner type people who find even the faintest fault punishable by death. There are exceptions to both of these, as there are demons and angels who hide themselves amongst the humans, wishing not to fight or kill. Both generally look like more beautiful people, though there's always a hint as to what they realy are, like markings for the horns, a glow that comes and goes, stuff like that.

Kael's mom was an angel who turned herself human so she couldn't be found by either race, but that didn't mean she no longer had angel blood in her. Saerin's dad fell in love with a human, watched his love die at angelic hands for loving with him, and he left his daughter at an orphanage so she wouldn't befall the same fate. He was later defeated in a massive battle between the two sides, and ironically enough a young Saerin found his scythe and felt a strange attatchment to it, so she took it home and trained herself with it. It was like a game to her and her new friend, who happened to be learning how to use his own father's blades.
