This illustration took about ~16hrs of active time. This was also completed in nearly two shots. I was incredibly motivated to work on this beautiful peace and was happy to give it my all! It's so much fun when I get to also have fun and excitement working on a commission I genuinely enjoy!

The style of the water and the background, all the details that can go unnoticed but really do add to the overall piece like the god rays.
You can almost feel the warmth and comfort that this puffin griffin must be experiencing!
