The ejection charge of the D12 motor wasn't potent enough to eject the main parachute of this Semroc 1:70 scaled Saturn 1b configured for the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission of July 1975. I'm not certain spare parts can be had. Perhaps LM shroud can be made from a sheet of 110# cardstock, or posterboard and detailed with pinstriping then painted. The airframe tubing for the CM has been pushed into the S4B section by the impact. It is slightly crumpled and could be pushed out, filled with putty, then painted. We'll see.

They reissued and updated the 1970 Cox X-15 RTF but had to recall them as someone failed to set the engine lock nozzle properly. The motor kicked out in flight and the model plunged into someone's arm. I dare not fly my sample in any public demo as it would void the hobby insurance if there was any property damage.
