The External Influence for this week is the Spirit Guide Deer. The flow of this week will allow you to show your gentle side. It will be an important lesson to practice by thinking about your behavior before you react in order to show a softer, more empathic response to the situations of this week. Do not misunderstand this for weakness, breaking boundaries, or for avoiding adventure. If the chance comes to let yourself enjoy a moment of innocent and exciting adventure, then take it! Even a small moment could be an incredible one. As seen in the Deer guide's antlers, we see an opportunity to connect to a higher sense of being and experience. Connect with your more subtle senses and allow this to open your heart to the soft coaxing sort of adventure.

This week's Rune is Fehu. This Rune is represented by the horns of a cow as well as raised arms. It is a symbol for prosperity, unstructured creativity, and the primal fire. It is, in particular, a symbol of mobile wealth. Cattle originally represented this form of abundance due to their ability to produce milk, but has developed over time into other forms such as money. Fehu represents fertility due to it's continued connection with cattle. It brings together the two opposites of creation and destruction to show us the harmony of learning how to balance both as one. This Rune can be an aid when we are looking to increase our mental or monetary wealth, to bring a greater depth and prosperity to our life goals, and when we wish to strengthen out intuitions. We can add a fullness to life and spirit when we see the wealth in the world around us rather than in only monetary gains. As the symbols of the upwards lines depict in this Rune, we can find fulfillment in extending our energies outward. Be wary of expending too much energy, however, but learn to connect with the immense powers of creativity without overwhelming yourself.

In the Internal Influence, we see Alligator. Don't rush. Let this week be about gathering information and organizing your thoughts as well as your environment. If making a decision, take the extra time to gather as much research as possibly from multiple perspectives before making your decision. This week's challenges may make you feel like nothing but the negative exists, but remember that where there is death there is life. Where there is darkness, there is light. Alligator represents the principles of land and water, life and death. Without one, there is no other. Others may think you are doing nothing, but in silence there is contemplation. In slowness, there is deliberation. Allow yourself to be strong as you work on protecting yourself and your territory. It may help to spend time cleaning and refreshing your home environment in order to aid in dealing with the outer environment of the world. Meditation will be beneficial to you in order to clean your inner mind, as well. Digest the information that has come to you, gather and absorb more research, and consider your options before making a decision. Alligator is a symbol of new knowledge and beginnings. Allow whatever challenges appear this week to promote growth rather than destruction. The Alligator represents death as well as life and mimics Naudhiz in a reminder that one can either live a life of destruction or use their inner knowledge and ability to grow in a positive light for themselves as well as those around them. Do not be dragged down by your past experiences. Gather knowledge from all around and do not let yourself be too afraid to heed the knowledge you may even be hiding from yourself. Transformation and growth is all around us if only we listen and work.
