It's been awhile since I've uploaded anything, so I figured I'd finally get this old one out of the way. Feel free to skip over this wall of text. Only comment if you want to, up to you.

This is not one of my recent works; in fact I finished it back in early 2009 in March to the best of my knowledge. At the time I had wanted to redesign Koopser slightly, in terms of clothing. So instead of drastically altering his look, I let him retain his trademark customized jersey, bejewled neck choker, and necklaces. What is different though, would entail a change of pants with a cool strap belt from his old shorts along with a gold wallet chain, a change of sneakers from his old ones that are more customized, the addition of a studded wrist bracelet, and a blue zip-up hoodie with torn sleeves layered over his old jersey. Just an attempt to mature him a bit more since 2007. Everything else though, is the same.

Much like Reign Unleashed was a chance for me to update Reign's design a bit while giving him a cool theme (lightsaber sword) to accompany him, this was also following the same route for Koopser. He hadn't been drawn by me since his creation in 2007 (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1683574/), and it discouraged me more that drawing a Koopa Troopa for me takes a lot of time to even get it to remotely look half right. Koopa Troopas and Yoshis are tough for me to draw, so it took a lot longer than I would have liked to finally update Koopser's look a bit. So, for his updated look, I gave him a street magic theme of sorts. Inspired by Criss Angel and his show Mindfreak, he's got the urban look going on with a hand of cards in his hand.

The background was done after I was done drawing Koopser, and took awhile to play around with until I got it just the way I wanted to. Basically a mix of GIMP filters and brushes credited to other artists, but arranged in a way I was satisfied with. Not exactly my favorite picture of Koopser and the quality isn't as good as I had thought it was two years ago, but eh, too late to fix it now. My good friend  Rickanovas offered to draw him last year but I didn't want his old design to be used, so in the meantime he came up with his own updated look for him with a little guidance from me and has been used as his look ever since. Of the two, I like my friend's version better more or less because it's been the design Koopser's been using for the past year and it fits him more up Reign and Maji's wheelhouse, in terms of appearance. So, his version may remain Koopser's main look from now on, but I wouldn't mind using this version once in awhile as an alternate outfit of sorts, much like Reign's skater outfit serves for Reign.

On a side note, my friend also helped me to update Maji's design a bit more, last year. I gave him the description, and he basically illustrated it. Again in the same way like this for Koopser andReign Unleashed for Reign, the intent was for the design to keep most of the notable elements of his original look but update it a bit more and change some things around.
