I'm not exactly sure what sparked this idea. Something having to do with a song I heard on the radio.
Anyway, I kinda took this idea from a poster my uncle, I think it was, had when he was in college. I added a diaper to it. I spent a ton of time on this. I think the hair, at least, could be better, but that's about as good as I know how to do it. I've never been very good at coloring hair. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. My attempts at drawing realistically aren't always successful. This one was closer.

So, one of my heros when it comes to art is Matt Groening. He was the first to bring to my attention the concept of 'pencil milage.' That is- for every drawing you do, it's amounts to a certain distance of lines drawn.
There's also this concept that you need to do something for 10,000 hours to be a master at it. In art, you probably draw around 15,000 miles worth of lines in 10,000 hours... give-or-take.
All that is to say... I have no memory of drawing this. I know it comes from a time when I was trying to paint photo-realism. After several attempts, I wasn't even close and I realised it was going to require a lot more study on light and color.
Since then, I have a better understanding of light, but color eludes me. It always has.
