Whoohoo, Chibi is finally finished! :D *passes out*

I'm seriously so happy with how he came out. This is hands down my most involved and detailed sculpture so far. I learned so many new techniques and experimented with some different materials.

I know I got a ton of great suggestions on ideas for flowers when I posted the progress shot, I really appreciated everyone's help! I had planned on trying out a neat idea that was sent to me(http://www.microjivvy.com/eyelash-flowers), however, when I was looking up where to find floral foam online I finally ended up coming across some miniature flowers that I think work perfectly!

Chibiterasu is made with Super Sculpey over a wire and foil armature. He was painted with acrylics and coated with a satin glaze for protection. He is mounted on a wooden base that has been sanded, stained and glazed. Model foliage and flowers were added as well. He measures 8cm from bottom of base to top of head, and 10cm from tip of tail to nose.

Chibiterasu will be available at Megaplex 2011.
