They can't break me!
So, yesterday I told people I would do a six hour make-up session for the one that I missed a week ago due to the lightning strike. Well, I got a few more commissions near the end and revised my plan to draw until the card commissions were all done.
To a room full of livestream viewers, that is apparently known as a challenge. FIFTEEN HOURS LATER I put my pencil down, cackles like the insane slavering beast I almost was, and called it a night.
First card is my Three warmup. Everyone likes this card but I really don't.
Next is Tygon who asked me to draw him however. I thought about it and we finally settled on two ideas and I let him pick from them and he chose Tygon as a Jedi. We also determined that his lightsaber is not, in fact, red since Red sabers are for sith. His saber is very very dark orange, or pink with less white. One of those. I also decided to draw his robes a little different from the usual Jedi robes so he would look all manly and stuff.
Next is a card for Ferus who is not on FA. She described her character as a black wolf with light grey markings and a sort of tomboyish build. She also told me the character had a puppyish personality so I tried to reflect that. Some people think she looks like a corgi.
Next is a two card spread for Deadlyjames who wanted me to do a bigger version of his image of Slither and Three handcuffed together. They're in a tree getting ready to ambush some mercs and steal their weapons.
After that are Datban's dreamspinner characters prepping to go to the beach, or maybe just to get some sun. I think the white one is about to bop her friend with that book.
After that we have Shadowfox who told me what he wanted with the simple words, "Foolish honkies!" Dude, a chance to draw someone as a sockbaby character? How could I not?!?! I imagine this is the point where Davis the Grey is explaining how the Sockbaby is a "Sockbaby Jesus, savior to the sock people.... and I have come TO TAKE IT!"
After that we have Dipper whom after watching my D&D videos wanted the character drawn in a "I'm a monster, RAWR!" pose like the gnome. I was very pleased with how it came out! What can I say, my heart will always belong to toony.
Next is a card for Charonbond who wanted a sort of epilog image to a story he's writing where Three is sent to gather some artifacts and is attacked by enemy divers. Since she's extremely fond of fish she ends the tale by taking a moment to nom on fish. I liked the idea of drawing her looking terribly sweet as she BITES THE FISH IN THE FACE.
After that is a card for Holliehyena who wanted a southern belle lynxess. I tried to draw her in warm inviting colors and make the image look sort of watercolory with some very faint gradients. I think she came out rather pretty!
Then Blackwater wanted a tigress character of his named Shamara punching a punching bah. I instantly got this pose in mind although I'm not entirely happy with the execution. Still, it looks like the bag took a good hard pounding and that Shamara can pack one.
And finally Quantumdragon wanted Bloodstrype as a jedi. My biggest worry was whether or not I could pull off drawing a lightsaber from the angle he wanted. I finally decided to tip it a little so it wouldn't look like he was holding a glowing period. We had far too many jokes while drawing this about how the janitor on space stations probably hates Jedi since they always make messes, particularly on those windows he spends so much time cleaning.
So yeah, thirteen cards in fifteen hours.
These are all 2.5 x 3.5 illustration board inked in sepia ink, colored in copics, and touched up with gelpen and colored pencil. I draw these (usually) three nights a week live via webcam. Thanks for watching!

Red lightsaber can be obtained by Jedi in fact (recall KOTOR Era) and in these times had no affilation to force (Darth Revan used purple lightsaber in fact), but red is indeeeeeed affiliated with 'evil'. Note, the KOTOR Era had not 'real' Siths. They just were named "Dark Jedi", instead of "Sith". :)
I can't recall the one Jedi, who had red lightsaber.
