Had this little guy dive into a creek when we stepped near yesterday. he was damn easy to catch and was even nice enough to stick around for a while for a photo shoot at least until someone used a flash on him. he did not appreciate that shit at all. then it was a frantic catch to keep him from hitting the pavement on the floor of the shelter and back to the creek.

I would Love to have kept him but honestly getting the little fruit flies and tiny bugs these guy eat is a pain in the ass and often results in HEY LOOK A NEW MUTATION IN YOUR WINGLESS FRUIT FLY HAS GIVEN THEM THE POWER OF FLIGHT!!!!!!!

Yeah did not need that again...
