plushes are so special. they selflessly give with no expectations, they provide companionship to the lonely and isolated, they comfort the anxious, show softness to those in hard places. and unlike some christian saints i could name they dont infliuct suffering in the belief that it will "save" u. they dont work for any higher power with ulterior motives, they only take the love u show them and give it right back in a way thats easier to accept bc it doesnt feel like its coming from u.
