... I'm only just realizing after studying this image before uploading it that August's underbelly and muzzle is the standard cream colour present on every other Sawsbuck forme, rather than the white that it should be during the winter (or more accurately, for him, summer). Damn it. You'd be thinking that I would be familiar enough with my character in order to point these out, especially with how nitpicky I am with artwork I receive, but I guess I can cut myself some slack given that he has four separate appearances to manage, heh.
Here we have the latest illustration featuring August that was created by
BigClaudia, which I believe was a Patreon reward for 
RodonEndwell! Also the only one I can remember off the top of my head that doesn't involve a certain V-word, which I only reference vaguely so that this doesn't appear in searches for that particular category of artwork. It features August in his winter forme having a nice travel with Cederic, the kobold/wolf paladin who once again is under the ownership of Rodon! I'm quite fond of it even if I didn't catch the slightly wrong colouration, which is entirely my fault given how long it's been.
Adventuring can be tiring! Luckily, August and Cederic's respective quirks means that both of them can have a reprieve from walking every so often in order to catch a sound night's sleep. August isn't opposed to being used as a steed provided he's politely asked about it first, and it's not like it's a huge bother with Cederic considering as in his kobold forme, he's surprisingly light even for someone who looks to be geared in heavy metal armour! And so, during the day, the tiny kobold sprawls out over his Sawsbuck companion's back to take a nap while August prances through a thick forest on all fours, alert for danger as rays of sunlight filter through the trees.
Come nighttime, the duo has come across a mountainside, and the full moon glints high in a starry sky. August is plenty tired from travelling for hours with his scaly friend resting peacefully on his back, but thankfully, they don't have to pause to take a break from progress. Cederic has since shifted into his winter wolf appearance, and now the roles have been swapped: August rests on the lupine's back while he treks up hill, allowing his tired joints to recover. Good thing Cederic is very strong!
