This is my unicorn, Lucky. For those of you watching me (or anyone for that matter), you may have never heard of him before. This little guy has always been extremely special to me. He's an old unicorn plush that my mum and father bought for me when I was born, basically. I've kept him through the years and for many of them he was my secret keeper, my playmate, and my companion. I thought i'd pay tribute to him finally, using only natural inks. (He's actually bright red.. unfortunately I have nothing available to give me the colour I needed.)

Beet and blackberry juice for the body, tumeric for the yellows, mixed with beet for the orange, spinach for the greens, coffee for the light browns and some shading, and blackberry for the "grays" in the mane. Absolutely no artificial colours.

..Probably looks like a 5 year old did this, but it isn't a piece i'm looking for critique on. It's just a personal picture that I finally was able to get onto paper.
