Bounty Hunter Noriko belongs to me
What? Midori has a new partner in crime?!
That's right!! This is another OC I had been planning for a while now but due to various reasons I didn't have the time nor the energy to finally bring this character to life. I realized I had been sitting on the idea for far too long recently so I got Zekky to help draw this character up for me and she came out exactly the way I wanted. Zekky continues to deliver killer artwork as usual!
So, who is this character exactly?
Truth be told, I don't really come up with in-depth bios for any of my OCs at all, but I'll make an exception here.
Noriko is a wingless dragon girl who had previously heard about the kind of bounty hunter work that Midori does for a living, and was super inspired by her that she took it upon herself to ask her directly if she could be given the chance to work as her partner.
Midori had worked with other companions here & there before for certain types of jobs, but for the most part she has generally worked alone. She wasn't sure how to react at first, never actually having worked with someone willing to cooperate with her on all & any jobs she'd accept—and also because Noriko's massive height & build intimidated Midori at first sight, admittedly. Nevertheless, she was inspired by her determination and happily accepted her as her partner. Noriko might accept a solo job every now and then, but if you ever see Midori in action, chances are you'll now be seeing Noriko alongside her too!
As shown in the reference, Noriko... has pretty thick proportions. This was intentional lol, as I was aiming for her to have a MILF-y type of body. I haven't commissioned any artwork of her alongside Midori yet but she is also meant to be a lot taller than her, too. Despite her appearance, she is kind-hearted & tends to act a little motherly towards shorter people she finds herself close with. Unfortunately, due to her personality, she also finds herself getting nervous a lot when actually placed into combat—a little ironic given the fact that she has incredible strength which Noriko might not be completely utilizing all the way. Midori is currently helping her to overcome this.
It's not highlighted in this image very well, but her main weapon of choice is a sword which can retract at the click of a button near the grip. In the event that she takes up a job that requires her to use a lot of her strength, she might occasionally use an axe too.
