In his young adulthood, Po, served his friend, and later first panda emperor, Hiro Khan, as advisor and general. In was a
difficult endeavor, but the two united the many panda sects into one mighty people, through the battling of a common enemy,
a strange species, that could morph themselves into various, deadly creatures, according to combat needs. These monstrosities were
wiped out, and an empire was built, and the pandas found themselves in an age of advancement and prosperity. Yet, resentment
continued with the elites, the emperor spared and made vassals of. Suspicions grew, when they noticed that the emperor had not
aged in over several generations, and neither did Po.

No one knows what caused the emperor's death, but chaos erupted from the power vacuum that it had left.
Worse still, the violent, unfathomable creatures, thought extinct, have re-emerged throughout the lands,
leaving untold destruction and despoiling the lands of the pandas. Despite the upheaval, the pandas'
imperial warriors became split into two warring factions: one serving the elites' orders,
and the other for the lowly commoner, both viciously arguing on how to better resolve the current plights.

None were more terrified by the events, than Po, who seemed to age rapidly after the news.
He, along several others, fled to the seas, in hopes of reaching the far-off panda colonies.
Instead, he crashed on the shores of the red bear empire, where he and his group were
taken in by its ruler, who made a new man out of him, restoring his health and vigor.

He now serves his new emperor as a diplomat, especially towards pandas who happen on the lands of Mokore.
Po wishes to return to his homeland and restore order, but even the creatures, who ravaged his home,
have been sighted in the lands of the red bear empire. Thus, he has also gone out of retirement to serve
as a general. He hopes his student warriors Kai, Gang, and Bao, can manage in his absence for the time being.
