We had another lead on our anomalous object around July 7th, but this one was very promising. So much so that numerous other teams like ours converged on it while various higher-up Eltyrian officials were seen a lot more frequently. We were getting close. And with it, the strange occurrences started.

Most frequently, folks putting down their tools would find they strangely disappear or move locations when unobserved. Then one person went to the washroom through a porta-potty. Another person unaware the first person already was using it, found the door unlocked with nobody inside and went about their business. Then 1 hour later the first person walked out, unaware as to what happened.

But the biggest occurrence, was when we all came back from lunch, to find that up was down, and down was up in the tunnel. Anything we had on the floor was on the ceiling, and vice versa. It was weird.

But while myself and all my other crew-members were weirded out from this, I can tell Emilie was getting excited even if she was trying hard to suppress it.

Cpt. Hanes notified me that energy signatures are consistent with the object in question, and that uncovering the object would be only a matter of days.

I wasn't sure what to do when it got found. I contemplated just hanging back and let STEEL and Eltyr play their war games. But that could lead to the Cult slipping in. Nothing can ever go smoothly can it?

Anyways, at this time, Hanes told me that Emilie would have a task for me to aid her and Cpt. Eastman in a couple days. Didn't know what to expect then, certainly couldn't've predicted what it ended up being.
