Apparently in the Sequel not only does Diane train in sneakers and socks but when she removes her closed toe high heels to fight the Bad Girls she's somehow wearing black slip-ons (kinda like that Sonic Boom episode where Sticks the Badger wears small close tied high heels but after taking them off is somehow already wearing her big bulky shoes ... not to mention the episode where Robotnik tricks Sticks out of her shoes and her barefeet are hidden by obscure items). The closest you'll ever get to a barefoot Diane is the first movie when she's electrocuted alongside Mr Wolf in the trap and you temporarily see her skeleton (3 toes per foot apparently).
