Yes, l always do. It's why l purchased a small Canon scanner that only requires USB power. With my tablet, it's a complete work-on-the-road system.

Those are done with markers?!? How did you get her colors to fade into one another like that?
I've *finally* gotten a decent set of prismacolors, and am now teaching myself how to use them. I would dearly love to learn a technique like that.

You know, I think I may have to host a "How To Use Markers" stream to teach the technique I use. It would be far easier than trying to explain it with typing. Would you watch that?

Sadly no, because my dial-up connection is so poor, it took literally two hours to upload my most recent submission. Watching anything like youtube or a livestream is beyond feasability for me. Damn rural location.

Though, at the time I typed the original comment I was unable to fullview the piece. I've since been able to do so, and I think I understand how you did it. At least I've got enough of an idea now that I think I can figure out my own technique, with a lot of practice.
I know what my brand new prisma markers are capable of... I just have to teach myself how to use them and bring out their full potential!

What scanner do you have? I'm very much interested in this usb-powered scanner you speak of >:3

I use a Canon CanoScan LiDE200, which is now replaced by the LiDE210. It's well under 100$, scans a really nice quality and is pretty fast. I find from both personal experience and customer reviews that Canon makes the best scanners. Hope this helps you!
