A little something I drew, with my take on the "beach" theme, featuring my Protohuman OC, Query. I initially created this depiction of Query as a submission for a summer-themed banner for a subReddit.
This piece was a fair bit different to create, as I've mostly drawn Query with neutral or serious expressions, so giving him a big ol' smile and having him directly address the viewer made me take some time to get his facial expression right.
To that point, I decided to work this into his lore, with this particular scene representing Query taking pride in his nature as a Protohuman, and trying to move beyond the horror of the accident that led to him becoming one.
