The group of four had narrowly escaped the bakery through a quick portal after their rogue snatched some particularly tasty-looking mana biscuits. Unfortunately for them, the Baking Witch's discerning guardian familiar, the Cinnamink, could smell a pastry from miles away and easily tracked them down in the cavernous depths underneath the bakery...
"I think we've been spotted! No more prep time!"
The bard raises their crystalline pen-staff high above the heads of their party members, encapsulating them all in a sturdy bubble shield just as the approaching reanimated skeletal slime dragon spews gobs of scalding hot honey across the cavern. As the rogue draws her weapons from her belt, the monk finishes tightening their enchanted fistwraps in the electric glow of the twin Lightning Fangs. The warlock readies a necromantic spell, drawing the magic straight out of the air.
They're ready for this battle.
