Gary huffed and wheezed as he plodded across the parking lot, Todd not far behind him. A bead of sweat was forming on his brow as the sun beat down on his face for the first time in a long time; exactly how long, the hyena couldn’t remember. His thunderous thighs shook the ground as he waddled up to his car, reveling in the sensation of every fatty ounce on his body shaking and jostling as he moved. He remembered, though oddly vaguely, of walking into this place barely more than skin and bones; man, he was such a loser back then. He ought to thank these people for showing him the true meaning of living; the true meaning of being fat. Gary paused as he leaned up against the door of his car, his gut, which swung between his buried knees, slapping up against the car slightly out from beneath the bottom of his shirt. Todd, in a wheezing pant, leaned up against the other side, the two squishing the car between their blubbery frames.
“Burger Temple?” Todd floated, the cheetah having already decided they were going to make a pit stop on the way home for some grub; had to maintain their figures after all.
“Yeah, then we can hit up Taco Kingdom. Then Mumbo's Pizza!” Gary concurred, the hyena having confirmed a one pit stop on the ten-minute drive home wasn’t enough.
As Gary turned the key in the ignition, the roar of the car was drowned out by the chorus of roars and rumbles emanating from the duo’s middles. They were hungry, as they always were. They had just finished a massive breakfast banquet before being released, each having stuffed nearly an entire feast’s worth of cheesy omelets, bacon, and donuts into their maws, yet their bellies already wanted more.
The two licked their lips in anticipation as the car squealed out of the parking lot and onto Main Street.
I've been trying to get back into drawing and thought I'd try sketching out a scene from one of my favourite stories by
