This photo is very interesting from many points of view

in this photo it might seem like a normal field of sunflowers but in reality it is not, these sunflowers have in fact grown again inside a corn field (you can't see it from the photo but it is so) in fact in 2018 the sunflowers had been planted, so it is likely that the seeds fell into the ground and survived the winter in the form of seeds (this type of strategy is also adopted by wild plants such as poppies) and finally the following year in 2019 they grew again in the same field but this time there was corn, today in 2024 there are few of these sunflowers left, in 2025 Unfortunately there is not one left, this is probably due to the cutting of the lawn, but also because it is known in botany that plants manipulated by man have unstable characteristics and the genetics are the same for all specimens.
