Soft paws on hot stone, mid day an the small ones escaped from their research serving one of the university's many professors. After a long day of reading, cross referencing and running up an down the the great libraries halls, the small critters are released to rest and ponder deeply.

Starting while the stars are high in the sky the warm sun feels good on ones fur and for erica an val the little squirrel an wuff respectively, have their favorite place to loaf out an cool down after the long studies.

Sprinting an bouncing down the mountain path from the library the small wuff shouts in excitement to the small squirrel close behind, the small critters squeeze an zoom their way through the upper residential district busy with critters returning home with their trades an food. Enjoying the midday on the street and balconies cooking up the fresh vegetables and the most resent fresh fish caught in the nearby town of Pikehold. Almost giving the small ones pause to all the wonderful scents filling the air.

Shaking it off for the prospect of thinking on what have running through their little minds, the wuff an squirrel run through a tight ally and grabbing tightly to erica the wuff only holds as the squirrel skillfully launches off one of the citys walls. Bouncing downwards using the prominent ware and vines lining the wall to catch herself, eventually landing their soft paws on the ground an launching away once more.

With one turn there's a cool feeling on their small paws, out of the oppressive sun and into one of the many cool towers where critters live and in some areas plan and meet. For busyness or adventure its always made an interesting listen, not today though with bated breath they burst back into the light to one of the small communal gardens. A wonderful place to simply think and enjoy the company.

finally the squirrel plops down resting her paws in the calm water, reflecting on the day with a wuff sneaking up on her and grabbing her pillowy tail flopping but with as much excitement "so what do you think, could it be true" the wuffs eyes shining in the sun erica gives only a reserved look back at her..

Val twisting her head questionably looks back and smiles "if they did it in the past" the squirrel looking unimpressed looks to the sky "if critters ever had such power of spirit we'd have it now" the wuff undeterred by her skeptical friend continues to grin into her puffy tail lost in thought and possibility~

The small squirrel rolling her eyes floops back an smiles softly "your hopeless"

The wuff now with her eyes closing in the warm sun responds softly "what?" as the two slowly drift off comfy in the warm sunshine, resting before another night of curiosity an questions. Squeaking happily~~
