Another story that's been rattling around for too long and needed to get out. This weeks TP was rather perfect, really! Apologies for the specific similarity between this week and last, I swear it's a coincidence and both stories were created independent of each other in my head lol.
Also I swear I can write stories outside of this point in Shelby's history... maybe next TP I need to ponder a space trucking story of some sort. It's definitely been a while.

Oh, there's that witch hunter I was wondering was ever gonna come into existence.
Cheera can relate with this issue, lucky for Shelby she doesn't wear anything that causes the misunderstanding; her hat, for all its beauty, is a red herring that many fall too easy for. Glad to see that at least things ended better for Shelby though.

I've been wanting to write about a witch hunter for a while, just didn't quite fit other prompts, nor was there enough there for a full story really. A big witchy hat wouldn't help! Would have been another thing for him to add to the list as "proof" lol. Hopefully Cheera isn't getting chased down by any ancient order of hunters anytime soon!

I've definitely taken a bit of a D&D approach to magic in that there's many ways to use the same energy, and the limits are largely my imagination (or lack there of sometimes!). Also witches aren't bad, just have a bad rap. Witches in this world are kinda like modern day lawyers. A lot of them are good and try hard to do good things, but if you say you are a lawyer people automatically assume you are hiding devil horns under your hat lol.
