Turning into a Mew would be a straight upgrade from being a human with the vast power and benefits you would gain, like immortality and shapeshifting. You would even be able to transform back into your human self with some work.

I wonder if it's something you can teach. Like, adding a new limb, you can understand the science behind it, brain sending electrical signals to muscle groups located in the limb to contract, thereby pulling bones, tendons, and ligaments at joints for movement, but in this example, how does that explanation teach a person to hold something? To run? To jump?

Psychic energy maybe similar. It's mental energy, willpower, but the lack of physicality is quite a barrier for a human mind to comprehend. Let go of your human mind and perhaps...?

Maybe you are correct, maybe it's just something that you need to try with trial and error? Not all minds works alike and I think there could be things that would affect the use of this, like strong emotions, traumas, etc, those things are inherent with any live being with a brain x3 even a Mew

I like to imagine it would be like suddenly having an entire new sense or limb. One that you can feel but have little idea of how to actually use it. Or like an energy you can feel within you but have no idea how to use it.
