yeah, true. it takes up a lot less space too.
when i built the chassis, i kept transport in mind.
if need be, the whole thing will break down to single parts small enough to transport in a car
though the rack cabinet is a different story
... and the big UPS is another.

ah, the HPA2094A
that old pos has about had it though
it was old when i got it in 96-97
it had the hfreq adjusted for a mac
had to adjust it back to 78khz or whatever it was
that thing is a horrible bastard to adjust all the levels to match
it's getting dim and fuzzy, so i just keep it as a backup
yeah, crts can have some nice benefits over lcd's like contrast ratio
but i've never owned a new, virgin crt
they're always various shades of worn out crap.
i'd have no problems with buying an lcd replacement
except that i'd have to make a new bracket system for it
and i'd never be able to afford three lcd's anyway.
