Chapter summary:
Tavarrah and K.K. make it back to their apartment building, where they have dinner at the local restaurant Minrano Ripalian and meet a new neighbor.

Story synopsis:
Fresh college graduates Tavarrah and K.K. are moving to the city of their dreams: Shoalport. As the capital of the continent, the diverse city contains everything you could ever want to do. Six boroughs, hundreds of neighborhoods and districts, thousands of attractions, and millions of residents. The two Dogai will meet new people, make new friends, have new experiences, explore the city, and learn what it is to live in Shoalport... for all its good and bad.

soooo confession. i've had this chapter 99% done since... before i posted chapter 1? lol. i've just continuously forgotten about it and neglected to go through my final editing checks until now. but! i think it's a really good one. Minrano Ripalian first appeared in a sort of beta chapter i did for the setting in 2020, featuring some characters that haven't been introduced yet. it's also the featured location in a 🔗 drawing from 2021, which i'm still pretty proud of. a little bit outdated though. (pirreans don't look like that anymore! they look more like 🔗 this! but even then, the markings aren't final, lol) so it hasn't changed too much since i first came up with it
