I caught this wild water snake in a local creek. It was probably about 10 inches long. Seems like a young one to me. This was a feisty one, too. It tried attacking the camera. Picture's a bit blurry. I'm not quite used to working with this camera.

Nice catch! They actually make interesting pets in captivity! I had one for a while - that thing absolutely LOVED his fish and the frogs I would catch him. ^^
