the moon is wrong, i know.
it's a marvelous feeling... after a brief late spring rainfall, stepping out into the lamplight in a bright white coat. i felt surrounded in the glare, buffered against the darkness....
there's a longer story behind this image. it involves three days of unexplained delusions and hallucination followed by rapid selective memory loss. i actually think i drew it the day before this happened.

If this planet is entirely eclipsed by a massive solar-panel array(out of picture), whereas the moon isn't... Such an effect could also be achieved. (The halo in the atmosphere could be indicitave that not the entire planet, but at least up to the horizon has been eclipsed...)
