Yay! Camel!
But esh, they should have fixed that saddle before you got on, or cinched up tighter. I'm noticing a lot of strange things in this picture that are making me raise an eyebrow(worked for an exotic animal farm that did this stuff-I'm very particular about safety for animals and customers).

Then it was cinching that needed to be tighter. Which is something that gets missed often, even with the guys I worked with, I just had one of the better eyes to notice when it was happening. Odd that they put you in front, the policy we had was to put solo riders behind the hump, and I think it had to do with the weight distribution with the saddle.
Oh really?? They asked me where I wanted to sit- being my first time- I said the front because I saw the handles. That's really odd that they didn't tell me where to sit then... See, I never knew that. I do plan to go for Zoology now though so I can work with these wonderful animals. I am just so amazed with them...
Different companies, different policies I suppose. Or sometimes it's the guys on the stand. I dunno, these guys seem to have been around for a while, maybe they've just had better luck and haven't had to make adjustments to their ways.
They really are amazing, and more studies do need to be done with them. Especially in regards to their intelligence. That seems to be a fairly untapped area with them. And they are big problem solvers.
