were the roads wet?

there were some wet patches, and patches of snow and ice on the north side.
a month before that i was sideways in the snow when i hit a patch of ice, slid out to far, and smacked a light pole in the back (my body's blocking it)

It takes more momentum than raw power, but once the turbos kick in at 2500rpms i could usually break it loose
