Leaping Lizards is one of my all time favorite pieces from my high school portfolio. It was featured in the schools magazine and many of my friends claim it's their favorite too. The three lizards are apart of a series. The first is realistic, the second done in monocromatic blues with all square scales (the others have circles too) and the last is a fantasy piece, turning the lizard into a dragon and using other colors.
This piece is hand matted. Done in Prismacolor colored pencilspressing very hard for the lizards and lightly for the background.
