In Monday's new Pokemon episode, the gang came across this Buneary which Dawn managed to capture. The funny thing is she has a total crush on Pikachu! It's about time the little electric mouse saw some action - Ash kept stealing all the Pokemon crushes for himself. ^_^
So I imagined a future episode where the others are off and Pikachu is guarding the Pokeballs and little Buneary here decides pop out and take advantage of the situation. ^_^
Whoops! Looks like Pikachu isn't too thrilled about it though. Too bad - he's gonna get some serious lovin' whether he wants it or not! >:D
Some possible responses from him:
"Stop that! I'm saving myself for Ash!"
"Don't go down there! If you do I'll blow the rating and we'll all be unmarketable!"
Any other captions anyone? Funny, romantic, or totally random. ^_^
Woo, drew an actual background for a change! I tried to mimic the painting style of the TV show using only the brush tool in Paint.NET. I think it came out decent enough.

True, they usually refer to the Pokemon as "it" to keep the genders unknown but if you have seen this Buneary you'd probably think it was a she as well.
It did all these pirouettes and covered itself with its fluff when it was shy. This was wayyyy more feminine than even most girls could be let alone a feminine guy. :)

Pikachu's gender has been officially announced. He IS a boy! I found out in the "Pokemon DP Battle Dimension" series episode "Where No Togepi Has Gone Before"
In the episode, a female Togepi puts Pikachu, Croagunk, and Piplup under her spell using attract, and after Brock states that "attract only works on the opposite gender" we learn that Pikachu is a boy, along with Croagunk and Piplup.

Great info! And it would be typical for Nintendo to do it in such an oblique manner. Of course, it also depends on whether Brock's dialogue was accurate to what was translated from the original Japanese.... X3 But I still think Pikachu is a boy anyway. XD

Youd think that pikachu would allow the buneary to at least kiss him though. And it looks like it is trying to use lovely kiss on pikachu not sweet kiss. Lovely kiss makes the user scare the pokemon into allowing it to kiss him or her. While sweet kiss seduces the enemy into a almost hypnotic state.
Wrong! But so funny.
BTW, Pikachu is male, in the cartoon you here it refered to as 'Him' in some episodes.

And, the could not do a homopokes thing, it would kill ratings and result in stations dropping it.
