The god Camazotz (or called Tzinacan by the Ztecs) is a Zapotec god from the sacred book Popol
Vuh where the protagonists face the Camazotzs in the Xibalba (the hell).
It is linked to death, sickness (such as rabies), and sacrifice by heart extraction. It is also associated with fertility and sexuality in some cases
