You're welcome! I personally could never do art as a job, mainly because I don't want to turn something I do for fun and personal fulfilment into something I have to do. Some people out there like to do that, but I'm just not one of those people. A hobby, there's only your own pressure and not anyone else, but a job broadens that source of expectations; I would guess even more so in this specific field of art. Though, I'm sure much of the stuff you do is for that same reason to an extent, just maybe not commissions where you've got deadlines to meet and money on the line adding pressure. You have been doing this for a while, though. Perhaps those factors that add a level of anxiety have become less prominent.
I think there's also just the matter of that we're different people and so we function different - you also tend to work in uh... kinky types of art, so you must have some serious self control unless whatever you're working on doesn't fulfil that interest enough. Also, I just don't think it's very sustainable and I'd rather do something that could help everyone in the world, but that's again just different minds. Whatever the case, you're very good at what you do, and I do encourage even if you don't directly challenge yourself to at least keep doing what you're doing for the sake of keeping your brain healthy. I mean, it doesn't take a genius to see what AI is doing to people's brains and making them mentally weaker because it's so easy. That might also be another factor to me because I'm afraid I might feel inclined to turn to AI assistance from the pressure of the job, but a hobby just means... well, I don't have to do that. Also, people these days usually want more human art because it brings connection and it's just got some kind of unexplainable charm to it that AI art fails to have - perhaps it's the motive behind it, I dunno - but again, you're working in a field where people more or less just want something to relieve themselves with, which I think makes it that much harder on those like you. I digress, though.
You're in a good community, and you're very skilled. You'll be alright.
