"Every step I took through these halls reminded me of just how organic & inorganic they were. The tiles on the floor were ever-so incorrect -- hollow in a sense of design. As though some of the bodies were specifically, though most unaware, hostile to those who interface with it. Stretching fields of visual noise, just to exist. Just to emulate that which is saw upon landing. Alienation solved through merely wearing the skin of the planet around it. I felt strangely sympathetic to the ruins. Each semanticless triviality only made me reflect on if she felt the same, & if this very structure could process how aimless its brick-laid life was."
