A tail I made for commission. This particular one is a bit of a special snowflake, in that all the green scales are turned so they poke outwards. It took half again more scales than normal.

I didn't get a chance to get a friend to go out and take a picture of it being worn, so I posed it hanging at least. I'm leaving town tomorrow afternoon, and I want at least one nice photo before I have to ship it.

The green scales sticking out give it some interesting visual effects. When looking from the side or from below, they stick out in occasionally in different directions, so it looks entertainingly messy. But from above, they visually overlap each other to form prominent green stripes. I think it looks cool.

This tail is a bit shorter than I normally try to make them, even though it is more scales long. (The backwards scales seemed to make the weave shorten up.) It's 32 inches long, made to hang from a belt.
