All of the walls, as well as the floor and ceiling, begin pulsing intense yet soothing colored rings and spirals. Emitting a bright mesmerizing light that distracts our hero, while he carefully traverses through the cramped corridors.
A speaker screeches on ---

you can't look away, so please refrain from trying.
Take a seat and wiggle your toes while you wait for the nearest caretaker to pick you up.

LAZ, though his movements begin to slow, and his mind becomes foggy, will not let some spirals and some cheap elevator music stop him!
That being said... its rather hard to avert your gaze, when hypnotic patterns are on all the surfaces all around you!
