This harness is for
fraustdogger who has been very patiently waiting for me to finish it. I still have a total of 4 anthrocon orders and then I am all done with my queue, and it's on to finish Rukis' slave collars for those 5 folk.
This is built with smooth chap leather and all stainless steel buckles/keeper loops. There is no nickel plated hardware, no rivets, and a first for me: no stitching errors at ALL :)
Turns out that since I got this machine, I had been using too small a needle. To properly stitch the huge thread I use, 277 Nylon, a #230 needle is required. The guy who runs the company that sold me the machine never told me that if I wanted to use 277 for both top and bottom thread, that his provided #200 needles are too narrow. It was the chart from one of my leather suppliers selling needles that tipped me off to this problem. Since those new needles arrived, I have had ZERO thread breaks, no problems with missed stitches, a lot less noise when stitching, and also better tracking of the needle path. It's literally like having a new machine instead of that "old problematic one". I love it!
If you're wondering why the straps look too big, they are - for this inflatable mannequin. This is fit for a 40" chest, 40" waist, and the dummy is 36/34. But that just shows how adjustable this harness really is. I was able to just get it to squeeze on my 46/44 chub. Each buckle can move a total of 2 inches, so that makes this comfy or tight, depending upon what is desired by the wearer.

a stitch in time saves 9.
One reason why I don't like to modify commercially made leather, you never know what weird materials they used! I can try to sew up the end of it, but my recommendation is have me make a belt for you, instead of putting more holes in a store-bought belt ;)
glad you are enjoying the collar, though!
Those inflatable mannequins are shit - they hold air for about 3 minutes and go flat. Just enough time to click the shutter and undress it again. They were supposed to accompany me to conventions for displays, but they are so cheaply made, they are useless for anything but photography. I had high hopes. Apparently the non-see-through model in silver holds air just fine. But I like the "see how the back looks" from the same photo of the clear one.

I'd be happy to make that instead of, or in addition to the chain cuffs, if you like! As of this weekend, I'll be finished with my queue, and it's no problem to do either or both.
