A linocut relief I made for an Art Fight attack on otterpond on Art Fight and her Pathfinder 2e character, Thimble Oats. Thimble Oats is a poppet (living doll!) rabbit, who protects others with his big quilting needle, which you can see him resting on here.
One of my goals here was to play with the value you can get in relief. In most of my previous prints, I had printed a largely black piece with only some white here and there. The goal here was to carve out more, and Thimble's patchwork fur pattern helped with that. This is also only the second linocut I have done outside the studio, and it was more of a struggle. This piece was a lot larger than my previous at-home carving, which made inking it difficult. Furthermore, my ink had started to dry out and was struggling to coat it. In the future, I would like to buy a roller to make this easier, but I think all things considered it still turned out well. At the least it was an interesting experience and it was awesome getting to discuss relief prints with otterpond once she saw my attack :)
