Yeah and i love how he is confused by the pets he receive from the townsfolk. It is like he does not understand the full extent of what he has done until Boris says it. he did it to save Rosy- not for himself, not for Jenna (well as a secondary since Rosy is her girl ) and not even for the town- he goes it for Rosy who was kind to him.
