I think sometimes when we spend too MUCH time on a piece, it starts to lose the life and originality it had as a sketch because we nitpick at details, so this drawing is the perfect balance, because it has realism from all the rough spots, (have you ever heard of a pristine dragon? lol) and the fluid life of the pose
