i just pull them closed with pliers. they can be pulled apart, but then its not armor either XD
also riveting/welding takes alot longer X.X
welding specifically will wreck the coloring
this normal method is strong enough to stand up to normal wear. but if oyu want to leash some one id just get a solid steel collar /x3 no colors just strength
